2009 Tims Ford 6 Mile Deer Trail Run
The morning started off with snow on the ground at Tims Ford State Park and by race time it had warmed up a bit, the sun was out and it was a beautiful day for a run. The results for this years Tims Ford race are posted on our results page here.

December Group Run
The monthly group will take place on the first Tuesday of the Month which for December will be 12/1/09. The run will start at 6:30PM from Daddy Billy's. The run is a casual paced 3 mile run. Many in the group will eat at Daddy Billy's afterward. Runners and walkers of all paces are welcome.
Run For Their Life 5K
The second annual Run For Their Life 5K is set for December 5, 2009 at 6PM. This race uses the Shelbyville Christmas Parade route as the race course and runs just prior to the Christmas Parade. The proceeds benefit the First Choice Pregnancy Counseling Center. You can find the race flyer here.
Marine Corp League 5 Miler - Results
Even with the Saturday morning downpour, there were lots of folks that braved the weather to run the soggy 5 miles. The results are posted on the club result page as well as a link from the Marine Corp League 5 Mile page
October Group Run
Another “Daddy Billy's” group run is scheduled for Tuesday evening (10/6/09) at 6:00PM. The run will start from Daddy Billy's (Atlantic Street, Tullahoma). The route is approximately 3 miles on very low traffic city streets. We will run first and then those who are so inclined can get together for food/drinks at Daddy Billy's afterward. This is intended to be a social/casual run. Last time we did this, some folks ran, some walked, and a few just joined the group afterward at Daddy Billy's for the social portion.
Next Club Meeting Date Set - Rescheduled
The next club meeting will be held on November 10 at Ruby Tuesday's in Tullahoma. In typical fashion, the meeting will start at 7PM but if you plan on eating, you will need to plan on being there around 6PM

Staggerwing Duathlon- Near perfect weather for August Duathlon
The 2009 Staggerwing Duathlon may very well have enjoyed the nicest weather in it's 7 year history. The weather was almost cool -- at least for August in the south. You can find the race results on our results page

The date for the annual Marine Corp League 5 Mile run has been set for September 26, 2009.

November Meeting

Thanksgiving Day Group Run
There will be a group run on Thanksgiving morning (8AM) starting from the Manchester Recreation Center. There will be a 3 mile and a 6 mile option. This is a good chance to run off some of the holiday pumpkin pie.
